According to a report by Douglas Elliman, the average selling price of a Manhattan apartment in the second quarter of 2021 rose 12% to more than $19 million. In the first half of 2019 the largest building in New York City was Lower East Side Waterfront Tower at One Manhattan Square. As a result, property blogs such as PropertyShark and PropertyClub topped the list.

On the west side of the city, John Tashjian, managing partner of Centurion Real Estate Partners, said that international traffic increased 33% between January and June at 212 W. 72nd Street, a 20-story condominium tower in Lincoln Square. Cat Liu, sales director for Extell's new condo at One Manhattan Square on the Lower East Side, said that the building has been sold to residents from Holland, France, Canada, China, South Korea and Japan. Sales of the 3,699-square-foot duplex penthouse at 1 Manhattan Square began in November and over 80 units sold for $11.6 million, said Raizy Haas, senior vice president of development at Extell. For many reasons we have the opportunity to demonstrate our strength : New York City is the right city
it is the right time for our talented designers to launch the world into the unique and fresh perspectives we offer industry and consumers. Our young brands inspire us with novelty and an obvious and outright indifference to global trends. American designers do not fall for in-your-face branding and push design elements that show and not tell the world of fashion.
As we take global leadership in combating the virus, we must also take leadership in the rebirth of fashion. Many believe that NYFW is no longer as influential as it used to be because of its size at Fashion Week compared to its counterparts in London, Milan and Paris. The Garment District is no longer the center of New York Fashion. It spread across the five boroughs in the 1990s. With 1,568 clothing companies and 22,000 employees, it has also allowed small fashion designers to be established in places like Astoria, Queens, Williamsburg and Brooklyn.
One option under consideration is to turn New York Fashion Week into a private showroom by appointment for next season's design buyers and a public fashion show showcasing this season's merchandise to consumers. With a smaller guest list, it would be interesting to see which celebrities and fashion designs are on the red carpet.
